Advent at Holy Cross

Peace seems to be the goal we are ever reaching for, but seemingly never achieved. In our lives, we may experience times of momentary peace, but then fears, anxieties, and trouble comes around the corner.

Jesus doesn’t promise that this life will always be peaceful. Sin has a way of disturbing the waters and causing ripples and waves. But Jesus does promise that peace can be found even in troubled waters, and an eternal peace that we will one day experience through Him. It started when the light of God’s grace entered the darkness of our world through the birth of our savior.

This Advent Season, experience the peace that comes through knowing God, and being known, and loved, by Him.
