If you’ve been worshiping with us for a little while and want to take the next step to becoming a member, join Pastor Erb for CrossConnect, and discover why being a member matters.
CrossConnect is a three-session class offered once a quarter, where you’ll earn more about Holy Cross, what it means to be a Lutheran, and what the next step in your faith journey could be. You'll also get to meet others who are new to Holy Cross.

Join us over the next three weeks as we take a closer look at three key moments in the Reformation history that led to our confession of faith as Lutherans. Known by the Latin word "solas," the reformers argued that salvation is by God's grace alone, revealed by God's Word alone, and received by a person through faith alone. This will be a great lead-up to our Reformation commemoration at the end of October.
Students in grades 6-12 are invited for food, fun, and games.

For the past several years, the Thrivent Member Network – Northeast Region has issued a challenge to its members – help “combat food insecurity in communities across the region with the Feed Northeast Thrivent Action Team incentive program.” Holy Cross has been an eager participant for many years, collecting thousands of items for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission (BRM) and earning them thousands of dollars in additional support from Thrivent.
We plan to repeat our success this month by participating in Feed Northeast 2024. We have set a goal of collecting at least 500 non-perishable food items to share with our neighbors at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. By achieving our goal on time, they will be eligible for an additional $500 donation.
Our collection deadline is October 31, but the faster we reach 500 items, the better the opportunity for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to earn an additional $500 donation. Food insecurity is real and present in the greater Bridgeport area. Please give prayerful consideration to how you will help our brothers and sisters in need
