CHRISTMAS-AT-SEA The objective of this Social Ministry project is to bring joy to seafarers who won’t be home with their families on Christmas.  The “joy” these seafarers receive is in the form of a satchel that is filled with gifts, including a sweatshirt, socks, T-shirt, knit cap, can of nuts, chocolate bar and Christmas card.  Look for the poster in the narthex that has shopping cards.  Return items by Nov. 1.  Check out the display case which highlights this project.

CHRISTIAN DISCUSSION GROUP:  Come out and join us on Wednesday, October 14, at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room.  We’ll be watching Ken Ham (who is the founder of “Answers in Genesis” and is one of the most in-demand Christian speakers in North America) speak about the six days of creation.  This is the fourth of six topics in Ken Ham’s DVD Series called “The Foundations.”
